Surrounded by nature

 

This sloping block in Barden Ridge had numerous challenges we had to overcome to achieve this final result. With the property being located on the fringe of the National Park, the main challenge of this project was to create harmony between the modern architecture of the house within the natural bush surroundings. To reflect this projects location, we have used natural products during the construction process, including sandstone boulders, decomposed granite and Australian hardwood timbers. To complement the natural construction materials, we used a planting schedule almost entirely consisting of Australian native plants.
